“4 Hours Short Film Making Challenge Online Short Film Festival 2020” Winners announced by Mamidi Harikrishna;  Released Comical Short Film, “Gardish Mein Hai Taare Lockdown Mein Sitaare”

Winners of “4 Hours Short Film Making Challenge Online Short Film Festival 2020″ announced by Mamidi, Harikrishna, Director, Department of Language & Culture and he also released message oriented comical Short Film, “Gardish Mein Hai Taare Lockdown Mein Sitaare“, today.

While addressing during online “4 Hours Short Film Making Challenge” Award function & online release of message oriented comical short film, “Gardish Mein Hai Taare Lockdown Mein Sitaare”, Written & Virtually Directed by Safi, he said that Telangana Government is committed not only for the Upliftment of people but also keen on promoting Theatre, Arts & Culture. He appreciated Global Entertainment & Media Services (GEMS) headed by Safi Quadri & Adla Satish Kumar who has been working closely with the Department of Language & Culture in promoting the rich culture of Telangana through various theatrical workshops & productions. One such event was “4 Hours Short Film Making Challenge” for the students of Telangana Indo Malaysian Multilingual Theatre Workshop, A GEMS initiative, headed by Adla Satish Kumar under the guidance of Giri Pothuraj.

The contests were awarded in the following categories, viz.,

Mamidi Harikrishna further emphasized on DTP – Discover Train & Promote the new & aspiring talent through these various workshops & film making challenges. He further said, while making the short film online, the current pandemic situation cannot hinder the talents of Telanganites. He praised and applauded the services of Safi Quadri and Adla Satish Kumar for coming with such innovative and unique concepts in promoting various aspects of Language and Culture.

He assured all help & cooperation from the Department of Language & Culture for betterment, upliftment & promotion of rich state heritage, culture & languages through theatre, shirt films and other current innovative mediums.

On this occasion, he felicitated versatile & renowned Writer, Director, Actor & Journalist Safi Quadri.
