Day -4 Session of Indo – Malaysian Multilingual Theatre Workshop at Ravindrabharathi 

Day-4 (Sunday, 29-Dec)  of  Indo – Malaysian Multilingual Theatre Workshop by Adla Satish Kumar & Safi Quadri Presented by the Department of language and Culture GOVT of Telangana A Gems Production held at Ravindrabharathi from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

All Actors participated enthusiastically in today’s Theatre workshop and learnt various aspects of Voice modulation & physical exercises, practiced Dhandiya dance forms,  overview of Kolatam, Learned various emotions such as Doubt, Anger, Surprise and Happy etc. Sangeeta Natak Academy Telangana Chairman Badmi Shiva Kumar gave surprise visit to the Workshop and checked with the Actors about 3 days training activities, in response actors gave a short demonstration of Actors mind body voice space and situation for which Shiva Kumar appreciated Actors and Adla Satish Kumar. Later all actors met All actors net the Present president  ATA (American Telugu Association), Paramesh Bheem Reddy.

 

Topic / Tasks performed in the respective sessions held in Theatre Workshop, 4th day today 29-December (Sunday)

TOPIC TASK

9 am to 10 am

Observation of surroundings of Ravindra Bharathi with Mind Body & 4 Senses

10 am to 11 am

Voice modulation Exercises, And  few physical exercises to stretch the muscles.

11 am to 10.15 pm  

An introduction to my village concept for an Actor and Dancer. Practiced Dhandiya dance form.

Today a group govt. Degree College girls came for an over view of Kolatam. And my village Harvest dance a day to day life of. Farmers activity from morning to evening from ploughing the field to cutting the crop bringing home the harvest and dancing in joy.

*** 1.15 pm to 2 pm – Lunch ***

2 pm – 3 pm

Learned various emotions such as Doubt, Anger, Surprise and Happy.

At 2. 50 pm Sangeeta Natak Academy Telangana chairman Badmi Shiva Kumar gave surprise visit asked workshop actors what they have learnt so far  3 days, in response actors gave a short demonstration of Actors mind body voice space and situation. The chairman Appreciated their work wished all the best to all actors and also Adla Satish Kumar.

The day ended with another task as regular common chai.

3.30 pm – 4 pm

Remember  Recollect, Represent what the actors have observed today.

All actors net the Present president  ATA (American Telugu Association), Paramesh Bheem Reddy.

Today’s session ended with regular prayer.

Highlights of today’s Workshop is, were the village life introduction actors of the workshop. HOME WORK  to actors each actor should REMEMBER, RECOLLECT  REPRESENT  A  CHARACTER / SITUATION  FROM  THEIR  CHILDHOOD  MEMORIES .

All Actors and Director ended Today’s Workshop  with thanks to Department of Language and Culture, Govt of Telangana.
